The above rates which are up to end March 2021 are Net Rates inclusive of all applicable Government Taxes and a choice of Western or Sri Lankan breakfast.
An “a la carte” Menu which includes Sri Lankan/Western Cuisine is also available. Prices range from approx. US$8-20 p/p excluding taxes and service charge.
Supplements
- Interactive authentic Sri Lankan Cookery Demonstrations using traditional cooking methods are provided. Such a demonstration will cost US$25 pp depending on the menu.
- For in-house guests, a brief history of the bungalow with a tour of the interior covering the spacious living room, inner and outer corridors and courtyards, magnificent dining area, traditional kitchen and passages, atuwa (paddy barn) one of the largest in the country etc., are made available on request at a mutually agreeable time.
- For in-house guests, an hour’s guided Pathway Tour during the morning covering the organically grown Herb/Spice/Fruit/Tea and Medicinal Gardens, Knox Sites, Paddy Fields can be arranged on request at a cost of US$10 p/p (inclusive of a Sri Lankan snack + drink). For external guests, such a tour will cost US$20 p/p. A Sri Lankan lunch can be made available at an additional cost if informed early.
REMARKS
- No minimum stay requirement for any type of room.
- Alcohol is not available on the menu. However, Guests are most welcome to bring their own (with receipts) with no extra corkage being charged. As a Government Directive, Alcohol cannot be purchased on Full Moon Poya Days.
- Shared accommodation is available for Guides/Drivers within the premises. If separate accommodation is required and if notice is given early, this can be arranged in close proximity to the premises at an approximate B/B rate of $35.
Reservation & Cancellation Policy
- All reservations need to be made prior to 21 days.
- 21-14 days – 25% on agreed rate (no refund).
- 13-7 days – 50% on agreed rate (no refund).
- 6-1 day (late bookings) – 100% Payment (no refund).
- All Booking Cancellations must be received in writing.
- According to availability, Special Rates can be arranged for long stay requests between two weeks and two months by Readers, Writers, Artists, etc.

Arrival and Departure Policy
- Check in – 13:00 Hours Early arrival is subject to availability. For guaranteed early check-in, reservation needs to be made starting from the previous night.
- Check out – 11:00 Hours Late check-outs are available on request and subject to availability.
- Guests have to present proof of identity at the time of checking-in. Guests are requested to carry with them the required document/s during their travel.
Child Policy
- Two children up to 11 years of age can stay with the parents in the Tropical Paradise Superior Suite and one child in the Red Velvet Deluxe Suite. Extra Bed per night (if needed) – US$30.00 (inclusive of Breakfast). The other double rooms cannot accommodate children.
- For children below 6 years, an extra bed or baby cot can be provided in the two Suites. Bed and meals will be provided free of charge.
- For Children between 6 - 12 years, the applicable rate is 50% of the Normal Meal Rate.
- If a child is above 12 years of age, a Triple room will be required.
